First Project: loops
This projected started out rough although I found success at the end of the project with a simple lo fi / classic beat. The hardest part of the project was to reintroduce myself back into the loops and finding the best loops for the project I was working on. I ended with a simple aba with the second a modified. Although I didn't use as much automation as I would of wanted I messed with the speed as well as the pitch of many of my beats to try and make the loops my own. I also made sure to split up some of the loops to make sure that the beat wasn't going to be too repetitive. I believe this project was a success and I'm happy on the final product.
project 2 own beat
This was one of the hardest, yet most for-filling project we have worked on all year. For this project I was able to use all of my own sounds which means no loops or using other peoples chords. The hardest part of the whole project was trying to take many of the 4 bar beat I had made and put them into a song. I had made more then 6 or so different 4 bar beats although I was only able to use 3. I liked to use the exs30 sampler during this project and take out side samples that logic couldn't offer. If I had more time I would mess with the main chorus a little more to make it sound a little better. Over all I think this project was a success and I hope we do a similar project in the future.
